7. Etuke, Dennis Odiri

Technical Program Manager
Etuke Dennis Odiri, is an ICT Consultant with over 20 years of working experience. He is married
with three boys and a girl. An indigene of Ughelli North of Delta State, hails from Benin City, Edo State, he graduated his first degree in Computer Science in 2000 from the University of Benin, Benin City where he had his Diploma in Data Processing Certificate. He began his career while schooling 1996 in Amfitop Nigeria publishing firm in Benin City as the computer operator, graphics designer and head training department. Thereafter, he expanded into software development as a freelance developer just after his Youth Service where he built his first community banking software and many others.

In 2005, he relocated to Abuja where he was appointed lead developer in an ICT firm and a consultant in automating the processes of a ITEX furnishing firm. Going forward in 2007, he was appointed as a technical consultant by Intel Corporation in piloting its first educational solution aimed at providing 1:1 computing environment for students. He started off inGovernment Junior Secondary School, Jabi, Abuja where he spent 6 months overseeing the project, drawing up case studies in a bid to scaling up the project for Intel Corporation.

Thereafter, he was appointed as the national Technical Programs Manager for Intel Corporation to provide all technical support regarding Intel's first world-wide e-learning classmate PC project in Nigeria. This was his first major assignment with an international firm covering education transformation where he got exposed empowering all Intel's ecosystem partners in handling the replication of its state-of-the-art student-friendly computing device. He got married in 2009.

In 2011, he left Intel Corporation and proceeded to consult with the Education Secretariat and its parastatals in the Federal Capital Territory Administration where he began piloting a new concept on harmonizing all schools records in a central data pool. He closely worked with the FCT Universal Basic Education Board (UBEB) and Secondary Education Board (SEB) building web portals in a bid to providing a one-stop-centre for statistics. He was the technical consultant to the FCT Education Secretariat and Department of Economic Planning, Research and Statistics.

In 2013, he spearheaded the development team on electronic health in the Federal Capital Territory mobile healthcare programme called "Mailafiya" which saw to the uploading of over 100,000 patients records from remote Primary Healthcare Centres and this consequently earned FCT the United Nations Public Service Award where he accompanied the erstwhile FCT Minister and his team to receive the award in the Kingdom of Bahrain, United Arab Emirates.

In 2015, as part of his passion in education, he developed an evaluation tool where students are empowered with technology to evaluate teachers which further earned some support from Intel Corporation and Dell Corporation and was later appointed as their Business Development Consultant in overseeing Education and Healthcare opportunities with devices and solutions in generating big data over internet of things for cloud-base technologies. Consequently, in 2016, he joined a team of global scientists to the United Kingdom for a training/conference by Intel and Dell Corporation.

In the Private Sector, he designed a Digital Time Card (DTC), a unique biometric timeattendance software for small and large business owners for punctuality assessment. He also built a Teachers Performance Evaluation Tool (T-PET) for schools which is quite a new concept and presently being adopted and distributed gradually across Nigeria and West Africa. Additionally, he has lead several team in building robust process automation cutting across Oil and Gas industries in Cross River, Military Academy in Sierra Leone, Anti-Ballistic Process Automation in South Africa just to mention a few.

Mr. Etuke has acquired over the years, his professional expertise in Project Management, Solution Integration and Automation, growing experience in the Health, Agricultural, Oil and Gas sector with regards digitizing their processes and he is presently the Chief Executive Office at Dencosoft Technovations Ltd. and a Board Member at Shise and Ageba's Children's Foundation.
